Trainer-led socialization walks are a great way to help socialize your dog to the wonders of life. We start off with some exercises that ensure our dogs are focused on us. This can include individual or group exercises.(about 30 mins total). After this we then go on a walk continuing to work on engagement, this often means we will do a group exercise while continuing to walk (about 25 mins). The last 5 minutes or so we work on calming exercises and/or being neutral after a busy 55 minute class/walk. To learn more about the socialization walks levels scroll on down!
Safety notes: No flexi/extendable leashes. Leashes must be a maximum of 6 feet. bring lots of treats or your dogs favourite toy to ensure a positive reward. A proper fitting harness and/or collar is required. If your dog is legitmately aggressive or a bite risk towards people or dogs please muzzle them as a safety precaution. Always keep a distance and work under your dogs threshold. A max of 20 dogs will be present.
Weather Cancellation:
Winter - Walks are cancelled at -15 degrees celsius and/or when the weather is blizzarding. In the Spring and Summer - Walks are cancelled if it is suppose to be pouring rain or above 30 degrees celsius at anytime during the hour walk.
We ask for a donation to attend these walks! Find out why, how much, and options below.
These walks are meant for those who might need a little more space! We keep our distance and make sure we work our dogs under threshold. This means we encourage our dogs to be calm around other dogs, people and outside sounds. There is a max of six dogs!! Some dogs really need and thrive in this small group. There is more 1-1 trainer time and each dog can be guided for what they need. This walk is perfect for those reactive dogs. Please note, punch passes cannot be used for this level.
These are the walks we have been running since the beginning! We work on engagement exercises, recall, group and individual exercises, loose leash walking, practical learnings, and much more! We do all of this with games, exercises and going on a walk! These walks have a max of 20 dogs and trainers are there to help the group as a whole. .
We ask you and your doggo to attend a level 2 walk first as these your dog must succeed at these to do well as an All Star! These walks are held in busier areas, such as Prince's Island Park, Downtown Calgary, Stephen Ave. We work on using the environment to our benefit and making sure our dogs can remain calm even in the busiest of areas. All owners must have control over their dogs! These walks have a max of 20 dogs and trainers are there to help the group as a whole!
All donations go towards helping dogs in care, local partner rescues, community members, and local communities in need.

We ask you to bring a high reward for your dog to ensure positive reinforcement! Toys and treats are great options1 FYI, if you own a working dog or a dog who LOVES ball/tug, bring that!
